Ship Class Hierarchy - So, you want to know what the biggest, baldest ship in Eve is. The short answer is "it depends". The purpose of this sell wow gold guide isn't to give you a clear path from start to finish becoming an all powerful pod pilot.
It is to help new players understand the differences between the ship types. Discussion of Tech2 ships is not in the scope of this guide as it would only make the hierarchy confusing and T2 ships aren't something that new players need to worry about for a while.
Frigates - The first ship you ever use is a Frigate. They don't have a lot of fitting slots. They don't have a lot of shields and armor either. But, they are the fastest and nimblest ship class. Frigates fit small sized weapons.
Destroyers - Not necessarily the next ship class you'll use, but the next in the list is the Destroyer. This sub-class of frigates has many more high slots for fitting more guns. Their drawback is that they have a bigger signature radius.
This makes them much easier to hit, although they don't have more armor and shields than a frigate. Their main function is frigate killing, and it is a bit of a specialized role. Destroyers fit small sized weapons.
