1.In World of Warcraft which weapon would be better?
If you had a dagger and a long sword with the same attack strength, which would be more effective or are they equivalent. Intuitively, the long sword would have a larger effective distance but do you think the game considers this or are they equal? Thanks.

Depends on several factors. Weapon speed, base damage, and how it's being used are all in question.
If you're dealing with an offhand weapon, you want the one with the fastest (lowest) attack speed, if you're a warrior or rogue. For a main-hand weapon, it gets more tricky. Generally, you'll want the one with the higher base damage - any special attacks (which use a fixed speed) will be based off of that. Mostly more useful to a rogue, since a warrior gets more rage from faster attacks.
If you're a hunter - just go with whatever weapon gives better stats.
Melee weapon ranges are all the same, so a sword and a dagger have the same reach.

3.Why wont my warrior human use ranged weapons in World Of Warcraft?
I have a level 10 warrior human. I bought a crossbow, quiver and arrows, and have been trained in their use by Woo-Ping over at Stormwind. But no matter how I try to use them, they wont work. Is there something else I'm missing that I need so I can use ranged weapons. I have crossbow equipped in the character info screen

did you drag the "Shoot" Ability to your hotbar from your abilities window? if no then go to the general tab of you abilities and look for shoot and drag it down then you're set to go...if its not that then file a help request with the GM's under the items listing.
4.World of warcraft - rogue advice.. what weapons ....?
i am making a rogue right now and i will ( im pvp ) start with ambush. should i get a slow, big damage dagger and a fast offhand weapon or vica - versa?

You want a high end slow damage weapon at low levels main hand such as Wingblade at low levels. A good off hand weapon to get is Swinetusk Shank as it has a marvelously fast speed, and good procs. As your talents increase eventually the ultimate setup for pvp is dagger rogue because your ambush and backstab abilities depend on dagger and will allow the max burst damage, so once you get level60 you should respec and move your sword combat talents into the subtlety tree and get shadowstep, people will despise your ganking for miles around once you get shadowstep and an epic mainhand dagger. 5.What weapon should i use in world of warcraft? im a human warrior, and i solo a lot Best Answer - Chosen By Voters You should post on the message boards at either gamefaqs.com or worldofwarcraft.com |
